Valuing diversity, ensuring inclusion, promoting sustainable development also at a social level: these are some of the key points at the center of the agenda of the 24 Ore Group which will return to participate with its teams in the marathon charity relay on 7 April Milan, a presence whose objective is to support “Joy” (, a summer solidarity project developed by Sport Senza Frontiere Onlus for minors between 6 and 17 years coming from families experiencing situations of social fragility or who are affected by emergencies.

Thanks to “Joy”, children and adolescents can attend summer camps, carrying out educational and training activities with other peers: an experience of social, cultural and value enrichment that offers a concrete proposal for education on integration, active citizenship and community welfare , thanks to the comparison with heterogeneous social and cultural realities. In particular, this year training workshops will be offered to help young people manage social media and devices without becoming victims.

«The presence of our teams at the Milan Marathon charity relay aims to be a concrete testimony of the attention that, as the 24 Ore Group, we place on the themes of inclusion, mutual respect and hospitality – underlines the general director of Media & Business of the 24 Hours Group, Federico Silvestri -. We think that practicing sports is a wonderful vehicle for passing these messages and it is for this reason that, in the last year and a half, we have participated in numerous sporting initiatives that have the theme of inclusion at their centre. Helping young people who come from socially disadvantaged backgrounds to integrate into society means providing them with greater opportunities for the future while contributing, at the same time, to building a better society.”

«Running for Sport Senza Frontiere means helping children who experience socio-economic hardship and who are at risk of social exclusion – declares Alessandro Tappa, president of Sport Senza Frontiere -. We have always believed that by pooling our strengths we can truly do great things with a single goal: the common good. For this reason we thank the 24 Ore Group for their participation alongside us in the Milan Marathon.”

In support of the “Joy” project, Gruppo 24 Ore has also opened a dedicated page on the crowdfunding site Rete del Dono ( -ore-corre-roma-ssf), where it is possible to contribute with a donation to the fundraising for this initiative.
