The Dumarey Group, which has one of its main research and development centers in Turin, closes the circle on the acquisition of Vitesco Technologies Italy, a Tuscan company specializing in injectors for petrol engines and exhaust gas treatment systems for diesel powertrains . The company, in the new organizational structure, will be called Dumarey Flowmotion Technology. The acquisition operation was formally concluded on December 31st.

The acquisition of Vitesco Technologies Italy represents an important stage in the growth strategy of the Dumarey Group, which aims to strengthen its weight in the global propulsion systems market by expanding the offering of products and services. Great attention is also paid to the world of internal combustion engines – Europe has banned them for cars and light commercial vehicles starting from 2035 – and to engines powered by alternative fuels, such as hydrogen.

When fully operational, the Dumarey Group therefore has three offices in Italy – the research and development center in Turin next to the two production plants in Vitesco – and 1,700 employees in total, one thousand of which are in Tuscany. Globally, the multinational employs 3 thousand people in six offices between Europe and Asia, with a turnover of one billion euros

«We are thrilled to welcome Vitesco Technologies Italy into our family – comments Pierpaolo Antonioli, Chief Technology Officer of the Dumarey Group – and with this operation we will be able to accelerate the development of innovative and low-emission propulsion solutions, an important step towards the environmental sustainability of the industry automotive”. The operation was financed by Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena.
