Order in the Emirates for Luxy: it will supply 4 thousand seats to schools in Abu Dhabi

The expansion of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, as a result of the war between Israel and Palestine, is generating great uncertainty on trade that passes through the Suez Canal. If companies complain about inconvenience in deliveries or increases in costs, there is no shortage of positive cases of confirmed orders. It happened to Luxy, an Italian company specialized in the production of designer seating.

The company from Lonigo (Vicenza) has in fact been awarded a new order in the United Arab Emirates, worth 400 thousand euros, obtaining the contract for a government project, divided into several phases and lasting several years, which involves the supply of seating to Abu Dhabi public schools.

The first phase of the project includes around 4 thousand seats between “flexible” models for the common areas, intended for multifunctional spaces for moments of comfort and relaxation, and “operational” models, designed to meet the needs of concentration and productivity.

With this contract, Luxy continues its commercial expansion plan in the United Arab Emirates and aims to increase the turnover produced in the region, which today is quantified at over 800 thousand euros.

«The United Arab Emirates are proving to be a fertile market of opportunities for our brand – states the president of Luxy, Giuseppe Cornetto Bourlot -. In the next three years, our exports to this market are expected to grow up to 2.5 million euros, or 10% of the overall turnover, to which the important negotiations underway for further projects in the United Arab Emirates themselves should also contribute, but also in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.”
