The revision of regional law n. has been approved. 17/2016 on the regulation of aid for agriculture and rural development. Among the effects of the review, the adaptation to the new regulation (EU) 2022/2472 for exemption aid schemes which expired in 2023. New types of contributions were then introduced: greater valorisation of the aquaculture sector, aid for damage caused by natural disasters, to compensate for the costs of prevention, control and eradication of organisms harmful to plants, for replacement services on the farm, as well as, for land improvement consortia, the financing of accumulation basins and of works for better supply and efficiency in the use of water resources. An important innovation is the reintroduction, alongside subsidized mortgages, of non-repayable aid for the financing of business investments, both in the primary production sector and in the transformation and marketing of agricultural products. An allocation of 3 million euros has been provided to support the new non-repayable aid.
