Ten years of life, a prize and a renewal plan. Blazé Milano was awarded the Altagamma 2023 young business award for the Fashion category, a recognition that opens up a new series of development opportunities for the brand founded in 2013 and which arrives just as the founders Corrada Rodriguez d’Acri, Delfina Pinardi and Maria Sole Torlonia, are preparing to relaunch it with a renovation operation.

«The rebranding of Blazé focused mainly on the new logo, which is gradually being inserted at product level and in all aspects related to the image, reaffirming the values of the brand», specify the three founders.

A transition that comes after a positive period for the accounts, as explained by Filippo Fani, managing director of Blazé Milano: «Returning from an already very positive 2022 which closed at 7.8 million euros, up by approximately 63% compared to 2021, Blazé reached approximately 12 million euros in turnover in 2023, with an increase of over 50% compared to the previous year”. And for 2024 the plans are ambitious, from the opening of a single-brand boutique in Milan to expansion into Asian markets: «For 2024 we aim to strengthen our presence in the USA through new wholesale doors and consolidate the results of e-commerce which, despite the global economic situation, confirms interesting budgets this year too. Europe continues to play an important role and we expect to grow further, while South Korea and Japan are the markets in which we plan to establish our presence, we are convinced that there are the conditions for our product to perform at its best – concludes Fani – Furthermore, a project we are particularly keen on is the opening of our first single-brand boutique in Milan, which will see the light of day during the year”.

Stefania Lazzaroni, General Director of Altagamma, briefly explained the idea behind this successful all-female Milanese initiative at the award ceremony: «Blazé was born with the aim of reinterpreting elegance and sartorial tradition in a contemporary key and the quality of Made in Italy through one of the key elements of the women’s wardrobe: the blazer.”

The three founders welcomed the recognition with “great satisfaction and gratitude” also because “it culminated a very special year for us: in 2023 Blazé reached the ten-year milestone and achieved important results both in terms of growth at of turnover and expansion into new markets; we are proud to have gotten this far with our own strength and it is a joy to share these results with our team, which is the energy and driving force behind everything.”
